On the 17th of the 2024 Shanghai Cooperation Organization Ice Hockey Invitational, the “China Ice Hockey City” Qiqihar held the “China Kyrgyzstan Match”. The Kyrgyzstan Nalun Eagles ice hockey team defeated the Chinese Qiqihar ice hockey team 5-4.

Qiqihar is one of the birthplaces of ice hockey in China, with a long tradition of ice hockey and profound cultural heritage, and is known as the “City of Ice Hockey in China”.

The 2024 Shanghai Cooperation Organization Ice Hockey Invitational is an international event under the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, in which relevant countries participate. From October 16th to October 21st, multiple ice hockey matches will be held at the Ice Hockey Hall of the Winter Sports Center in Qiqihar City. Four teams from Shanghai Cooperation Organization related countries, including China, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, will participate in the adult group competition, and five teams will participate in the youth group competition.

In the game on the 17th, at 1 minute and 48 seconds in the first set, Nalun Eagle Ice Hockey team’s 22nd player Nikolayanko committed a foul and was sent off for 2 minutes. Qiqihar Ice Hockey team had the advantage of the number of players on the field and besieged the opponent’s goal, but failed to score. At 5 minutes and 56 seconds, Nalun Eagles ice hockey team’s No. 2 Fediesov scored a goal, rewriting the score to 1-0. At 13:18 and 19:40 of the game, Nalun Eagles ice hockey team’s No. 51 Maxim and No. 74 Kailat scored respectively, helping the team expand their lead to 3-0.

After the start of the second game, the two sides entered a stalemate phase until 38 minutes and 17 seconds, when the Nalun Eagles ice hockey team’s No. 2 Feijisov shot a cold arrow in front of the goal and scored another goal, making the score 4-0.

In the third game, at 47 minutes and 22 seconds, the Nalun Eagles ice hockey team drew on the 17th and scored a goal, with a score of 5-0. The Qiqihar ice hockey team, who were behind by 5 goals, played a brilliant combination in a row. At 48 minutes and 38 seconds, and 49 minutes and 05 seconds respectively, the 24th player Jin Jialin and the 19th player Zhang Haoran scored two goals in a row, bringing the score to 2:5. At 52 minutes and 04 seconds, the 12th player Peng Zhibo helped the team score their third goal. At the 55th minute and 34th second of the game, Peng Zhibo scored another goal to change the score to 4:5. The Qiqihar ice hockey team was only one goal away from catching up, but ultimately failed to perform a spectacular comeback.

In a previous match, the Russian coastal ice hockey team defeated the Kazakhstan AHL Almaty ice hockey team 4-3 to achieve two consecutive victories.
